April 2010 Challenge: Stir fry

  • Peanut Sauce Vegetable Stir Fry with Tofu Veggies are only broccoli, red pepper, and mushrooms but can be changed. Am more interested in the sauce.
  • Tofu Rice Stir Fry This one requires marinating the tofu for an hour. I’ve never done that before, so I thought it would be nice to try. Don’t know about a 1/4 cup of fresh ginger though.
  • Japanese Mom’s Tofu Stir-Fry This one uses crumbled tofu and a minimum of ingredients, so it seems like a quickie. Kind of the opposite of the previous recipe in regards to time.

Just tofu (should this be a separate challenge page or should we list them here, understanding that they’ll probably go with veggies and rice, etc.?):

  • Soy Sauce Boiled Tofu This is a recipe I began making in Korea. It’s only the tofu, but it’s easy and tastes delicious.
  • Deep Fried Tofu (with dipping sauce) I’m not a big fan of deep frying, but this sounds like an interesting appetizer… and I have a jar of plum sauce in the fridge that I need to find more uses for
  • Asian Style Savory Baked Tofu I’ve never baked tofu. This is another one that has a marinade, though it says that you can take or leave the long marinating time.
  • Amazing Marinated Tofu Sandwich Another marinated tofu recipe, designed to be pan-fried and put in a sandwich (like you couldn’t tell from the title).
